Incorporated as a city in 1896, Clever is a small town of approximately 2,500 residents located just west of Nixa. Despite its small size, Clever is one of the fastest growing communities in Christian county, with an estimated 111% growth over the last decade on census. Clever is well known for its excellent school system, with enrollment nearing half the town’s population, along with a new performing arts center and a FEMA storm shelter for the safety of its residents.
